What Will You See on Our Free Walking Tour Miraflores?

Our walk begins near Kennedy Park, in the heart of Miraflores. This lively area is one of the neighborhood’s best-known meeting places, famous for its green spaces, local vendors and, of course, the cats that have become part of the park’s identity.

Nearby, we’ll discover the Virgen Milagrosa Church, an important landmark overlooking the central park. As we walk through Miraflores, your guide will share stories about the neighborhood, its development and everyday life in this modern part of Lima.

From the center of Miraflores, we continue toward the coast and the famous Miraflores Malecón, a series of parks stretching along the cliffs above the Pacific Ocean. This is one of Lima’s most scenic areas and a favorite place for locals to walk, exercise and enjoy the ocean views.

Along the way, we’ll also visit Chinese Park, where you can learn about the historical influence of the Chinese community in Peru.

Exploring Miraflores Along the Pacific Coast

The walk continues along the cliffs to the Lighthouse of the Navy, one of the distinctive landmarks of the Miraflores coastline. From here, you’ll have impressive views of the Pacific Ocean and Lima’s Costa Verde below.

One of our final stops is the famous Park of Love (Parque del Amor), known for its colorful mosaics, romantic atmosphere and panoramic ocean views. It is also a great place to take photos and enjoy the coastal scenery.

Throughout the approximately 2-hour walking tour, there will be time to explore at a relaxed pace, take pictures and learn more about the places we visit.

The tour finishes in the coastal area of Miraflores, leaving you in a great location to continue exploring the Malecón or simply stay and enjoy the views of the Pacific.
